SMM Parents Club
General Information


Welcome to all new, prospective, and current SMM parents! Here is the Who, What, Where, Why, and When of Parents Club. Please don't hesitate to contact Sister Joanne or any of the Parents Club officers with any questions or concerns.

WHO: All parents of SMM students are automatically members of Parents Club. At the beginning of each year, each family is asked to pay $10.00 to support the many activities and services provided by the Parents Club. This includes such things as: Teacher Appreciation, Angel Works, Irish Coffee, Halloween Carnival, Ice Cream Social/Variety Show and recess equipment…to name just a few.

WHAT/WHY: Families are encouraged to be a part of the Parents Club through meeting attendance, volunteering, and participating in our fundraising programs. Overall the Parents Club hopes to make sure parents are involved and informed about school events and activities at SMM. Please see the links below for detailed information about SMM’s activities and fundraising programs.

WHERE/WHEN: Parents Club meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 8:35 -10:00 am in the Extension portable. All committee heads make regular reports to the Parents Club for your benefit. Come to voice your questions or concerns and give input on important issues affecting the school. An agenda will be distributed via email the week before each Parents Club meeting. If you would like an item to be on the agenda you must contact Sister Joanne and the Parent Club president one week prior to the meeting.
