From the Mouths of our Students

What I like about St. Mary Magdalen School . . .

I like the school because all the teachers are involved with God.

Our school is different from other schools because we learn and talk about Jesus.

What I like about St. Mary Magdalen is that it feels like a second home to me. I know when I’m at SMM I am surrounded by loving teachers and caring friends. I feel very safe when I am at school and know that I can trust my teacher to help me learn. Besides having great teachers and friends at SMM, we are also surrounded by God. We get to pray, attend Mass and celebrate holy days. If I didn’t go to SMM, we wouldn’t get to do this at school.

St. Mary Magdalen School is important to my learning . . .

I would highly recommend this school if you want your children to have a great education.
It is a school where I can learn about my faith. Also the teachers help me prepare for my future and to understand ways to help our community and help others in our communitiy.

Most importantly they teach me to be a loving, caring, and sharing person. They give me personal ttention when I need it. I like St. Mary Magdalen for its kind, caring people.

In the history of the world no one person has made as great of a difference in the lives of others as Jesus Christ. My teachers at SMM have taught how Christ leads his flock by example and teaches compassion and service. I hope to take what I am learning about Jesus and use it in my life as an example to others.

My Catholic education has helped my faith grow . . .

My Catholic education has helped my faith grow immensely. Here at SMM, I am surrounded by people of my faith. Therefore, I can always talk to my friends about God. I feel like I belong to a group of religious people who understand. It is really a great learning environment.

Attending a school like this allows me to speak freely and ask questions about my faith. Also, at a Catholic school our faith is explained to us. We have religion teachers who are there to teach us more about our faith.

Catholic education has helped my faith because without my school I wouldn’t know half the things I know now. Also, I think it’s great that we have church together as one school. Our teacher teaches s in a fun way - like plays - so it’s easier to understand some things.

I can openly express and practice my faith. I can also incorporate God into everything I do. Having a Catholic education gives me a great advantage in my life. It gives me a chance to become who I truly am, by growing closer to God.
