Kindergarten
through 8th Grade
Saint
Mary Magdalen School opened in September 1960 as a result of the
commitment by the parents to provide a Catholic Education for
their children. Today, St. Mary Magdalen School is one of
the largest Catholic schools in the state of Washington with four
hundred fifty students drawn from Snohomish County. We provide
two class sections for every grade - Kindergarten through Eighth.
Key
Benefits
- Saint
Mary Magdalen students receive daily instruction in religion.
Together with formal classes, students participate in a wealth
of community service projects, such as visiting the local
nursing homes. School-wide drives are made at Thanksgiving
and Christmas to help others in need.
- At
the center of our school mission is building a Christian community.
Students express care and concern for each other in the classroom
and on the playground. Parents are involved in school
programs, both in the classroom and through social activities.
- Our
staff is composed of 26 competent and state-certified teachers,
many of whom hold advanced degrees. In addition to our basic
subjects, the core curriculum for all students includes instruction
in physical education and sports, the arts, math enrichment,
public speaking and computer science in our well-equipped
computer lab.
